In the heart of Rwanda, nestled amidst rolling hills adorned with emerald greenery, our eyes trace the contours of the land. The hills seem to hold secrets of generations past, whispers of resilience and strength passed down through time; they hold the soil that grows some of the finest coffee one can drink. This coffee, from the Horizon plantation in the south of Rwanda, is our first collaboration with Mama Mountain coffee importers, a local venture founded by one of our first customers and his wife. It is a privilege to partner with friends who are committed to sourcing ethical, sustainable coffee in this beautiful, vibrant nation. We have roasted this one to accentuate the fruit and floral notes in this particular lot. Lemon and grape give way to a light floral finish.
